Legendary Boston Bruins defenseman Ray Bourque has traded in his sweater for a chef’s jacket in his post-playing days. At least for a few moments for Dining Playbook, anyway.

The Hall of Famer, who is now the co-owner of Tresca in the North End, showed off his skills in the kitchen with host Billy Costa. The two made a dish overflowing with calories that Bourque nicknamed “the fat pass,” but it goes by “nona” on the menu.
