Cinco de Mayo is the unofficial start of spring, and the city can’t wait to celebrate! There are so many amazing spots to celebrate at throughout the city, and we chose a few of our favorites to get the party started.
Hidden in the alleys of Back Bay, this hidden gem has made its mark in Boston. As the oldest Mexican restaurant in New England, Casa Romero is definitely one of the most authentic places to grab a Cinco de Mayo meal. Enjoy award-winning margaritas and delicious dishes inside or outside on their patio!
This Back Bay staple is gearing up for another great Cinco de Mayo party! Enjoy frozen drinks and tacos to share! Citrus and Salt is celebrating Cinco de Mayo with specialized drinks and delicious dishes. Make sure to make a reservation.
Cosmica is hosting their annual Cinco de Mayo Taco & Margarita Fiesta! Starting at 5 pm enjoy food and drink specials with live mariachi entertainment and even take a hit at the pinata!
Imagine this: you’re drinking a frozen margarita while hanging out on the roof top to with hand-made tacos. If this is what you have been waiting for, you’re in luck! Check out Felipe’s Taqueria right in the heart of Harvard square.
Keep the fiesta going! On Friday, May 6th Hub Hall on Causeway is hosting its first Cinco de Mayo Fiesta. Try a specialty margarita flight at Now Pouring then grab tacos at Naco Taco for the perfect pairing. Expect gifted goodies to take home when you arrive and raffle prizes! Learn more here.

Nestled right in the middle of Newbury Street, prepare for an authentic Mexican-food experience. So many tacos, burritos, and everything in-between to choose from and be sure to get a margarita to complement the ideal Cinco de Mayo dish!
Loco has a full week of fiesta! Their “5 Days of Cinco” (May 1st to May 5th), consists of fun parties, $1 oyster all day, drink specials, and piñatas! Make sure to make a reservation for one of the days of fun!
Indulge in festivities and a new menu at Lolita Cocina & Tequila Bar! Treat yourself to a full seafood tower and finish off with their new Coco Frio coconut sorbet cut with toasted coconut – yum!
This may be on college students’ territory, but it is also a favorite for Allston and Brookline locals alike! Right on Commonwealth Avenue, try Sunset’s award-winning nachos (trust us, does not disappoint) and tasty (and strong!) cocktails.
Fun drinks, tasty dishes, and an electric atmosphere! That is what you’re going to expect when heading over to one of the top taqueria’s in Boston’s South End. Not all your friends can make it to the festivities. Well, you are in luck, you can text a “taco” to them! Click here for more information.
