Community Through Hospitality is the new initiative of Chef Douglass Williams and his business partner Seth Gerber of MIDA. The initiative aims to raise funds starting with a $2500.00 donation by MIDA to enable BECMA to purchase protective masks from local Black-owned businesses and then donate them to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston for the city’s kids. MIDA’s donation has already generated an order for 9,000 protective masks to benefit the Yawkey Club of Roxbury! MIDA is proud to be working with BECMA and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston.
