Thanksgiving is right around the corner, but it won’t look like it normally does amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Why not support local businesses while getting a delicious Thanksgiving meal!? Check out some of the options below for some turkey-day ideas.
Alcove is offering ready-to-cook and ready-to-eat birds for Thanksgiving takeout! Alcove will have feasts-for-four available for pre-order and pick-up, complete with all the sides. Packages are offered at $150 for four people, and can be ordered online. Order by 2:00pm on Monday, November 23rd for pick-up on Wednesday, November 25 or Thursday, November 26th.
The Beehive, located in Boston’s South End, is offering a creative twist on classic Thanksgiving dishes available for dine-in and take-out. For those who enjoy hosting Turkey Day but don’t want to spend the whole time in the kitchen, The Beehive also offering a Thanksgiving To Go menu available for pickup on November 25 & 26. Pre-order by November 20th, pick up, heat and enjoy. Lobster and Pumpkin Bisque and Roasted Free Range Turkey with Sage and Rosemary Gravy are just a few of the foods in the funky, festive feast. Boston Harbor Hotel
Boston Harbor Hotel’s “Harbor at Home” Thanksgiving Dinner is their “Thanksgiving to-go” option which offers a complete prepared meal including an 18lb Organic Vermont turkey. Guests can top off the experience with Chef Daniel Bruce’s custom holiday magnum wine selections for an additional price. The “Thanksgiving to-go” dinner serves 6-8 guests and starts at $365. The Clink. team is putting together take-out packages with ready-to-cook turkeys and all your favorite sides for at-home festivities. Each kit comes with instructions for cooking your bird and there are plenty of add-ons like starters and wine to fill your table. Pre-order by 12:00pm on Monday November 23rd. Grill 23 & Bar
Grill 23 & Bar is offering “Thanksgiving at Home” featuring a complete Turkey feast with sides and dessert for $110 for two people and $220 for four people. There is also an option for a Chateaubriand Roast Dinner for $130 for two people and $260 for four people. All meals include a variety of sides, including mashed potatoes, roasted butternut squash, brioche rolls to name a few. Guests can also order pies for an additional price of $34 for a Dutch Apple Pie or Chocolate Chip Pecan Pie, or a Malted Pumpkin Pie for $32. Comprised of Legal’s most popular menu items, these features are perfect for family dinners and get-togethers. Chef Douglass Williams and the MIDA team are putting together the ultimate Thanksgiving feast with a hint of your Italian grandmother’s special touches. Rochambeau will be offering Thanksgiving to-go featuring the turkey, sides and Thanksgiving pies by Pastry Chef Michele Fadden. Culinary Director Nick Calias has created the ultimate Thanksgiving Feast for Four People to enjoy in the comfort of your own home. Season To Go is bringing its chef-driven, local food expertise to the Thanksgiving table this year. Offering a whole Thanksgiving spread for 4 people, individual à la carte side dishes, festive condiments, or ‘Just the Bird’, locals can place their holiday pre-order through Thursday, November 19th by clicking here. Sonsie Executive Chef Phil Lewis will be offering some of Thanksgiving’s favorite dishes to pick up and enjoy at home. The Thanksgiving meal package serves eight guests and comes with the turkey and all the fixins as well as pie for $230. Stephanie’s On Newbury
The Newbury Street neighborhood favorite, Stephanie’s on Newbury, is offering festive Thanksgiving foods for preorder. A 14-LB Farm-Raised Turkey, Cornbread Stuffing, Stephanie’s Mac & Cheese, and Pumpkin Pie are some of its comfort classics available. Stephanie’s Thanksgiving menu is available for pre-order until the end of the day on Friday, November 20th band orders can be placed by emailing email@example.com. Pick up for any Stephanie’s Thanksgiving purchase will be on Thanksgiving Day from 9:00AM – 10:00AM.
Summer Shack has been offering Thanksgiving to-go for the past 15 years. Turkeys can be ordered oven baked or Cajun deep fried. Sides include: mashed potatoes, butternut squash and cornbread stuffing, along with gravy. To order just the turkey, it is $95. For the turkey and the sides to feed up to eight guests, it is $135. Cook released their Thanksgiving menu, offering take-out options at both their Needham and Newton locations.
