Where to Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Boston

St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner and plenty of restaurants are giving us reason to go all out with a celebration.  From food fests to parties to music events, there’s something for everyone. We’ve got a great roundup on everything you can do to get lucky this weekend, so read on!

Grafton Street

Over in Cambridge, find a more traditional celebration at Grafton Street. Feast on classics like corned beef and cabbage with drink specials. Start the day off with their Irish  Stout & Cheddar fondue then move on to a Guinness Beef Stew, Shepherd’s Pie, Fish & Chips, and much more. If you’ve got room for dessert, indulge in the Soda Bread Pudding with baked bananas, chocolate chips, and Irish whiskey toffee. In addition, Grafton Street will have live performances by local Irish musical acts.

State Street Provisions

In addition to their standard menu, State Street will be offering playful Irish-inspired dishes. Options include Ham & Cheese Toasties, Shepherd’s Pie Poutine, and Corned Beef Cheek Sliders. You can sip all the Guinness you want, but check out their cocktail special, The Emerald Isle, made with Glendalough Double Barrel, green chartreuse, Luxardo Maraschino cherries, lime, and mint.

Encore Boston Harbor

If you’re a whiskey lover, don’t miss Encore’s extensive Irish whiskey tasting event on Thursday, March 12th. Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day a few days early with unique hors d’oeuvres and well-known whiskeys produced by Jameson, Bushmills, The Quiet Man and more. Tickets are  $65 per person and can be purchased at the concierge desk or by calling (857) 770-7070.

Lucky’s Lounge

All day Saturday, March 14th, head to Lucky’s Lounge for a day full of booze, grub, and entertainment. From 1-3pm, there will be an Irish Trivia Brunch, but you’re welcome to enjoy food and drink specials and live music all day and night. There is no cover and guests can make reservations here.

Back Bay Social

Back Bay Social will be hosting a weekend of fun, starting with their Sunday funday Keg & Eggs Party on Sunday, March 15th. On the actual holiday on Tuesday, they’ll feature a variety of St. Patrick’s Day specials like a reuben sandwich, reuben fritters, and a corned beef dinner. Drink specials will include specialty themed cocktails such as the Shamrock Sour and Irish Mule, a leprechaun beer bucket, and Guinness on draft.

Rochambeau’s festive St. Patrick Day specials will include Corned Beef Monsieur, Corned Beef Dinner, Bangers and Mash, a Green Fairy cocktail served in large format for sharing, as well as an Irish Coffee and Corned Beef Sandwiches in the café.

Summer Shack Cambridge

At the Summer Shack Cambridge location, enjoy a traditional boiled dinner all week long from Wednesday, March 11 through Tuesday, March 17. Chef Jasper White’s signature boiled dinner features corned beef that has been cured for 10 days served with heaps of cabbage, potatoes, carrots and onions with pickles, horseradish, and mustard on the side.
