Faneuil Hall Mardi Gras Celebration
Celebrate Mardi Gras at Faneuil Hall on Tuesday, February 25th from 12-2pm. Festivities include a parade around Faneuil Hall and live New Orleans jazz-style music from The Late Risers. Enjoy funky cocktails and New Orleans-style food that are perfect for celebrating Fat Tuesday in fashion.
Buttermilk & Bourbon’s Celebration
Join Chef Jason Santos for some of his favorite New Orleans specialties at his restaurant, Buttermilk & Bourbon. The whole restaurant will be getting a taste of Bourbon Street with special foods like Red Hot Gold Beignets, King Cake Ice Cream Cones, and crawfish by the half pound.
Dorchester Brewing Co.’s Mass Ave Mardi Gras
Dorchester Brewing Co will be celebrating Mardi Gras a couple days early on Saturday, February 22nd. Don your beads and masks and enjoy craft beer, cider, and wine with a popup from M&M BBQ featuring smoked chicken and sausage jambalaya. You’ll also get live jazz music from Sammy D and the Late Risers and Mardi Gras themed DJ dialogues.
The Porch Southern Fare & Juke Joint
On Sunday, February 23rd, The Porch will be hosting a huge Mardi Gras street party with everything from music and food to live performances. The main event starts at 11am with music from The Hot Tamale Brass Band starting at 3pm, and The Get Nice Trio starting at 7pm. But the food, oh the food. You’ll get to try everything from fried shrimp, craw dogs, po’ boys, gumbo, and so much more. Dessert options include chocolate beignets and, you bet, king cake. Don’t forget to look up from your plate of food though. Entertainment includes aerial dancers, stilt walkers, and face painting.
