Can you believe we’re already halfway through January? Bring it, 2020! Many of you came into the New Year with a healthier mindset, and we’re here for it. We love providing you with tasty options around Boston that won’t wreck your diet, and today we’re sharing where you can get really tasty plant-based burgers. Our list is a mix of places you might expect to have vegetarian options, and some that may surprise you!

Earls

As a whole, Earls offers a ton of vegetarian and vegan-friendly options. In fact, their online menu allows you to filter out plant-based offerings, which is super convenient for those who need to plan ahead. Earls is one of many restaurants that features the incredibly popular Impossible Burger. Their take is with traditional burger toppings: lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, mayo & mustard. Additionally, it’s served on a vegan bun alongside yukon gold fries.

110 Grill

110 Grill does an amazing job at highlighting their commitment to accommodating guests’ allergen needs. They have a separate gluten-free menu, and an extensive one at that. 110 Grill features the Beyond Burger, a 100% plant-based burger topped with y0ur choice of cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and garlic aioli. And like many of their menu items, the burger can be modified to be totally plant-based. While you’re at 110 Grill, make sure to order a glass of Champy — our host Jenny’s sparkling wine from Sonoma County.

Veggie Galaxy

It should come as no surprise that Veggie Galaxy features a plant-based burger, but this one just had to make our list. It’s a black bean burger that’s packed with flavor, thanks to the roasted red pepper puree, onion rings, roasted garlic mayo, and baby arugula. It’s one stacked burger!

The Warehouse

Don’t put it past a sports bar to have great vegetarian options. The Warehouse is another location that features the Impossible Burger on their menu. The restaurant’s take on the veggie burger is pretty classic, as it’s topped with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and pickles. But the added bonus here is the vegan cheddar topping. A plant-based win all around!

Cask ‘n Flagon

Cask ‘n  Flagon’s veggie burger is made in-house, and is a delicious blend of black beans, rice, onions and mushrooms. They top it with melted Swiss cheese, avocado, and Thousand Island dressing. The burger as a whole may not be 100% plant-based but you can easily customize your toppings to fit your diet.

Bukowski Tavern

Hungry for not just a good burger, but a great Instagram caption too? Head to Bukowski Tavern in Cambridge for their “Goodbye Meat, I Still Love You” burger. Yet again, it features the Impossible Burger, but Bukowski’s version takes it up a notch. The appropriately named plant-based burger is topped with a curry tomato sauce, corn, and bell pepper salsa.

Yard House

Yard House may be the home to the world’s largest selection of draft beer, but it’s also home to a great plant-based burger. The second on our list to feature the Beyond Burger, Yard House’s vegan option is topped with vegan mozzarella, red onion, tomato, pickles, arugula, smashed avocado, and mixed greens tossed in balsamic vinaigrette. And, given the location, you’ll have plenty of beer options to wash your burger down.
