The Lenox Hotel Fireplace Package

Despite the amazing weather we had this past weekend, we all know it’s still only January. And as much as we’re saddened to admit it, the winter weather back this week. But don’t panic and go into hibernation mode just yet. Today we’re sharing a list of spots with fireplaces where you can cozy right up.

The Lenox Hotel

If you’re planning a Boston staycation, look no further than The Lenox Hotel for not only a lovely place to stay, but one with plenty of amenities. Right now, the hotel is offering a “Fireside Experience Package” for the perfect way to make the most of chilly months in Boston. The package includes a stay in one of The Lenox Hotel’s Executive Fireplace rooms along with hot chocolate & s’mores-inspired chocolates. Yum!

South End Buttery

Yvonne’s

Aside from being one of the trendiest speakeasy bars Boston has to offer, The Library at Yvonne’s is a spot you can really get cozy in. With its mahogany bar, bookshelves galore, and stunning chandeliers, you’ll forget about all the snowy weather outside. Need a drink recommendation that’ll warm you right up? Go for the Churn & Burn with brown butter bourbon, five spice demerara, and angostura.

Post 390

Long day shopping at The Pru? Enjoy a nice, relaxing dinner at Post 390, the perfect winter spot. A seat near the fireplace will surely take all your stresses away, not to mention a delicious meal. Some of our favorites include the Hudson Valley Free-Range chicken and the BBQ Heritage Pork Ribs. During this time of year, we’re after that stick-to-your ribs kind of dishes, aren’t you?

Caffe Nero

If you’re looking for a cool spot to meet friends for coffee or just plug in your laptop and churn out some work, Caffe Nero is always the place to go. Many of their locations offer a beautifully ornate stone fireplace with floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, making it one of the coziest coffee shops in Boston.

The Salty Pig

A seat at the bar and facing a fireplace? Double yes. The Salty Pig is not only a charcuterie funhouse, but a great place to grab a cocktail to avoid the winter blues. You can’t go wrong with a meat board, but they’re also well known for their stone-grilled pizzas. A standout option is “The Salty Pig” pizza with salty pig parts, mustard, arugula, and a pale ale caramel. Bring on the carbs!

Pammy’s

Central Square newcomer Pammy’s isn’t just a hit for their amazing menu, but for the incredible ambiance. The restaurant is covered with sleek white tiled walls and full of plants…and of course, a dual-sided hearth. If you’re able to, grab a seat by the fire and watch the flames flicker as you twirl some of their homemade pasta. The lumache with gochujang is an interesting take on pasta Bolognese and we’re totally digging it.

Capo

This rustic gathering place in South Boston features Italian food in a classic setting. The open-kitchen concept with the fireplace makes it one of the coziest on our list, but the aromas from the wood-fired pizza really seal the deal. We get hungry every time we see their Instagram feed, and probably head back soon for their short rib ravioli. Hooray, winter diet!
