Get Ready to Treat Yourself with these New Year's Eve Dinners

After yet another amazing year, we’re thrilled to close out 2019 with a bang. And what better way to cheers to 2020 than with a great meal at one of our favorite restaurants. But not just any meal. We want you to wine, dine, and have a really good time. We’re rounding up a few standout places we recommend for your last meal of 2019, so raise your glass and read on.

Art Bar

This East Cambridge restaurant has one of the best views of the Boston skyline, not to mention it’s a great spot for watching fireworks over the Charles River. Welcome the new year with their four-course prix fixe menu featuring items like grilled oysters, lamb rillette, and poached lobster. And that raspberry sorbet with a champagne float? A must-have dessert for New Year’s Eve.

Bastille Kitchen

While the city is swarming with people, step into cozy French bistro Bastille Kitchen for a very special prix fixe dinner. Options include wagyu tenderloin, foie brûlée, and truffle pappardelle. Up for a little dancing? Head over to the upper lounge for a live DJ and champagne toast at midnight.

City Table

If you plan on going to First Night Boston, start off with dinner at City Table, just a few steps away from all the festivities. In addition to their regular menu, enjoy indulgent New Year’s Eve specials like steak, lobster, and caviar. All with a glass of champagne, of course.

No. 9 Park

Barbara Lynch’s flagship restaurant is hosting a European-inspired 5-course prix fixe menu as well as a 7-course menu for those who really want to indulge. Choose from dishes like  Peekytoe Crab Rockefeller, Rohan Duck, and Dry-Aged Ribeye. After dinner, walk through Boston Common to soak up the last moments of 2019.

Rochambeau

One of our favorite new restaurants has a lot to offer this New Year’s Eve. An a la carte menu will be served downstairs, while 4-course and 5-course prix fixe dinners will be served up stairs. After your meal, head to their “Let’s French” New Year’s Eve party featuring hors d’oeuvres, a dessert buffet, a DJ, and of course, the midnight champagne toast.

Top of the Hub

It should come as no surprise that we’ve included the Top of the Hub on our New Year’s Even hotspot list. Choose from either a 4-course or 5-course prix fixe dinner with live music from the Sarah Brindell band and a champagne toast at midnight. Oh, and those views …those Top of the Hub views. Insert all the heart eyes.

Tuscan Kitchen – Seaport

Head over to the Tuscan Kitchen’s Seaport location for a customizable three-course menu. You’ll choose from Italian specialties like lobster & crab cannelloni, white truffle risotto, seared duck breast, and grilled lobster tail. Our stomachs are rumbling at the sight of the menu — is yours?
