Banners Kitchen & Tap: Breaking Records in Boston

Banners Kitchen and Tap is breaking records here in Boston, and the city is a buzz about it.

With so much history surrounding the Boston Garden, the Patina Group knew they had to go BIG with the opening of the latest sports pub to hit the city.

The main feature, spanning nearly forty feet diagonally, is the “dream screen,” the largest in-restaurant LED TV screen on the East Coast. And you thought watching Boston sports teams couldn’t get more exciting.

If you’re looking for even more action, grab a group of friends and head up to one of the Top Golf swing suites. Eat, drink, and play game simulations of golf, hockey, zombie dodgeball, and more. You’ll be entertained for hours.

Our menu is classic sports bar fare with an elevated twist. For example, our nachos have our homemade cheese sauce which has five different cheeses in it, and it’s topped with chili and shishito peppers, so it’s really good and has a different twist than everybody’s usually used to.

Any of Banners apps are indulge-worthy. From the tuna tacos to the pretzel and beer cheese, your group will definitely not go hungry.

Another really cool thing on our menu is our clothesline bacon, which is a couple slices of bacon that are blow torched, and laced in syrup, black pepper and rosemary. And all of the fat drippings drip on to some of our homemade pickles.

Dive in to a New England staple, the Hot Buttered Lobster Roll. Filled with a quarter pound of lobster meat and served on a brioche roll, you can’t go wrong with a classic.

Our tap system has 60 draft lines, we’re really excited about it, it’s one of the largest in the area. We get to rotate our a lot of local beers that we’re excited to pour.

In addition to the many draft beers, Banners also has two rotating draft cocktails. We suggest trying their twist on a classic tiki drink called the Champion’s Cup. It features vodka, banana, coconut, lime and is topped with sparkling wine.

The next time you’re looking to go big for the game … Banners Kitchen and Tap is a no brainer. You can find that giant tv inside the Hub on Causeway at 82 Causeway Street or check out their Instagram page – @BannersKitchenTap.
