Today, Joey from The Roaming Foodie got to check out Ora Trattorizza, located in the Back Bay. The first part of the name stems from the Italian word for “now”, because the restaurants focus is about being in the moment.

Walking into the restaurant, Joey got a feeling of Italian nostalgia and felt like he was in a Roman restaurant. One of the coolest parts of the restaurant is the Marra Forni brick oven, cranking out pies in less than two minutes.

One of Joey’s favorite dishes which was the Gluten Free Porcini pizza. One bite into the crust and you’d have no idea it was cauliflower.

The Gnocchi Alla Sorrentina is delicious. The tomato sauce is perfectly seasoned, not too sweet and not too salty and fresh, creamy mozzarella tops the baked gnocchi dish.

The Black Truffle Sacchetti is a must-try. Tiny pasta pockets are stuffed with ricotta, and are immersed in truffle mushrooms. A grand and tasty meal.

If you’ve left room for dessert, we highly recommend the Dessert Pizza or Tiramisu. The pizza is topped with a fan-favorite, Nutella, as well as fresh berries, cinnamon, and cream. The tiramisu is layered with mascarpone cheese, lady fingers and espresso bean crema. Both exceeded Joey’s expectations.

So whether you’re craving pizza or pasta, Ora Trattorizza should be your first stop. Located on Boylston street in Boston and online at OraTrattorizza.com
