Craig Breslow is a busy man, both on and off the diamond.

The Boston Red Sox relief pitcher already has made 13 appearances for the club this season and sports a 3.24 ERA with 15 strikeouts. While he’s not busy mowing down batters on the mound, though, Breslow is working for a good cause.

Breslow’s Strike 3 Foundation, which he founded in 2008 to help raise money for pediatric cancer research recently hosted a “Sip Happens” event in downtown Boston that featured plenty of fine wines and delicious food.

The event was a smashing success, raising $250,000 for the foundation. It also gave Billy Costa of “Dining Playbook” the chance to catch up with Breslow, who revealed another new exciting development: Anna’s Taqueria’s creation of his very own burrito.
