Boston Red Sox outfielder Jackie Bradley Jr. is a professional athlete, so he needs to eat healthy during the season to keep in playing shape.

During this week’s episode of “Dining Playbook,” he told  Jenny Johnson that he accomplishes this goal when he cooks at home, with one small exception.

“A pint of Ben & Jerry’s Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream,” Bradley said. “I have three in my freezer right now.”

Sweet tooth aside, the Sox outfielder also enjoys checking out some of Boston’s best restaurants, most notably Del Fresco’s and Fleming’s.
