Former New England Patriots linebacker Tedy Bruschi finished the Boston Marathon two years ago, and made a pact with his wife that they would never run it again. But after the events on April 15, 2013, Bruschi vowed to finish the marathon again with his team.
Bruschi started Tedy’s Team after he had a stroke at the age of 31. As he recovered, Bruschi committed himself to being an advocate, spokesperson, and inspiration for stroke survivors in New England. Every year, Tedy’s Team sponsors runners in the Boston Marathon, and Bruschi talked with hosts Billy and Jenny about what it’s like training for the big race.
